The Golden Lunch Box!

Every year Tom Thomson Public School has been working with the students to reduce the waste! Once a week the students will bring in a litterless lunch, if they bring a litterless lunch in they get a prize, for example an eraser. Even though they get a prize once a week the teachers and older students encourage them to try to bring a litterless all the time.

This year at Tom Thomson we have changed the routine. Every week the teachers will write the number of students that had a litterless lunch. The class with the most students with litterless lunches wins the GOLDEN LUNCH BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!! for a week!

With the encouragement and raising awareness Tom Thompson has reduced the waste of garbage at our school. The Eco tigers team at our school hope that we can raise awareness not just for our school but for the world.
